What do you mean by distorted?

Hey – yeah, I am having the same issue – images are skewed/stretched a bit…I think it has to do with the css class ‘attachment-home-post’ vs ‘attachment-home-post-thumbnail’, but I can’t figure out how to fix it, it’s beyond my css knowledge unfortunately.

If either of you can give me a step-by-step of how to replicate the issue that would be great.

Hey Andrew – check out the images on the site @jblanc posted (especially that 4th image in the first row)…Doesn’t that look skewed to you? To replicate all you had to do was upgrade from the previous version of SPUN to the new 2.02 version…In the previous version images weren’t stretched like this.

Some of the images in the circles on @jblanc’s site do look skewed, however I am unable to replicate this, on my site, despite my efforts.

Ah, gotcha – and you have the latest update v 2.02? I wonder if it broke between v 2.0 and 2.02, because if you checkout https://sixhours.net (on version 2.0), it looks normal, but that is also the developers site so she may have “fixed” it if it was messed up. Not sure – I just know it’s messed up on my site too (similar to @jblanc).

I rolled back to v2.0 and I still had the issue, but rolling back to v1.07 fixed it…I might upgrade again to 2.02 just to see if I can figure out the problem cause it’s driving me crazy now, haha. I also took a few print screens of v1.07 vs 2.02 because I thought I was going crazy – there was definitely a change…seems like maybe some sort of auto-resize, but I can’t figure out where the issue is….anyway, rolling back to 1.07 will help if anyone cares.

Ok, I know where the issue is now…but i just have to figure out how to fix it – if anyone can help there…So, in the new version the image shown in the circle seems to be the native (original image), not the images sized down to 360×360. I.E. in v1.07 the img would be: “/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/20140110-12345.jpg-360×360.jpg
” Or something like that…in the new 2.0 and later version it is resizing the original image I believe “/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/20140110-12345.jpg”. Any help on editing this so that it goes back to the -360×360.jpg version? I am guessing it’s done in functions.php maybe, unless there is a setting I am missing…Any help? Thanks!

Thanks so much Steve. How do I roll back to a previous theme version to test my site? A friend recommended to reload all images but it didn’t work.

You can see the different versions avail here: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/spun/developers/. There might be a way to revert back within WordPress, but I just did it manually (went into web server, found the theme’s directory and uploaded the old version again).

    Thanks Steve! will try

Hi thanks for bringing this to the top.

I don’t know how to …”web server, found the theme’s directory and uploaded the old version again” as @steves_turn above.

    Could someone advise? Thanks

Looks like Steve resolved the issue here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/resize-image-in-cirlce/page/3?replies=83#post-5203042
