    Good day Pascal,

Thank you for your work on this plugin, I was looking for something that would allow separation between frontend and backend and you provided the right solution!

I have installed this on 3 websites of a client, all hosted and configured the same (the main difference is the language and the TLD).

On two of them it works just fine, or so it seems until now (day 2).

On the 3rd it works once (after I hit save for the settings, which are the same on all 3 websites) and then since I access it the 2nd, 3rd and so on time, the curtain falls.

Note: it is set to block the front, not the back and my IP is specified as a backup for back access, just in case.

Any insights into what might cause this ?

Thank you for the time and attention!

    Hi,

I need more info on this.

What is exactly blocked, and how do you test if it is working or not?

Thank you for the quick reply!

There are three websites, all setup in the same manner (hosting, content, plugins, including yours).

One of them fails to hide content. It only does it for the first visit, after I click the save button inside the plugin. That is: I click Save and then it’s protected for one first visit, per user.

One of the blocked countries is the one I live in. The hidden area is the front end.

I test using another browser where I’m not logged in. And it works fine, for the other two.

I also ask my client to test, he’s on another ISP from the same country and registers the same behavior.

Do you use a caching plugin or other caching solution?

Nope, none that I know of.

The websites are configured exactly the same so they should act in a similar manner if it were the case.

Also, I read the other support threads before posting, looking for a similar issue. Read about the caching that might be causing filtering issues and accounted for that.

Any insights, can I provide you with extra intel ?

    Hi,

If you have access to the raw webserver logfiles and are comfortable with MySQL or you would be willing to send me a mysql table and your raw logfiles I could send you a debug version of the plugin that logs all requests that get passed through the plugin.
