After the 5.2.3 update, the feature – WP XML-RPC – is disabled.

It has been in AIOS 5.2.2 the xml-rpc disabled due to it has been moved to php based firewall and accidentally it do not block users or make any plugin conflict it has been disabled you might can see a notice for it on dashabord.

It will have Reactivate option on notice.

IF you do not see and if you have the AIOS 5.2.2 updated and new updated AIOS 5.2.3 has issue Please cross check below features on.

WP Security > Firewall > Basic firewall rules tab > Completely block access to XMLRPC , Disable pingback functionality from XMLRPC

I didn’t accurately describe the problem. With version 5.2.2, everything is clear. I’m talking about version 5.2.3.
In version 5.2.2 we enabled WP XML-RPC and everything was fine. After upgrading from version 5.2.2 to version 5.2.3, WP XML-RPC was disabled again.

I confirm this problem.

After 5.2.2 to 5.2.3 upgrade, xmlrpc protection and the additional firewall protection (those that were moved to php) were all disabled again. But this time no email and no warning message!

I just checked this on about eight 5.2.3 upgraded sites and had to re-enable xmlrpc protection. Those still on 5.2.2 are still OK.

Now I’ll have to go through all my other sites (again) to fix up issues caused by AIOWPS updates.

Please stop releasing updates until they’ve been properly thought out, and fully tested.

Can also confirm that these settings were once again disabled between 5.2.2 and 5.2.3. And this time, without a single message

Yes, It seems the issue is there and settings are disabled again. We have fixed this internally and going to release next version asap. but if have updated from 5.2.2 to 5.2.3 it will be disabled and have to manually activate again.

If you disable the plugin and then enable it, then in version 5 2 5 the setting is disabled. Restoring settings does not help. Only manually.

Yes, this issue is still there in AIOS 5.2.5, and if you deactivate and activate it has to manully enable again.

We have worked on fix for it but still it has some other issue due to the solution so it was not released in AIOS 5.2.5
