    Hello,

Polylang supports sitemaps provided by WordPress (available since WP 5.5) and sitemaps provided by “Yoast SEO”. We don’t support other sitemap plugins.

However, I am aware that “SEOPress” and “XML Sitemap & Google News” officially support Polylang on their side.

Hi @alivgon we confirm what @chouby says: SEOPress perfectly works with Polylang ??

Hey @chouby! Is there any problem with the Rank Math guys?

    All my best!

    Hello,

No problem. However, there are thousands of plugins. We just don’t have the time to support all of them. So we make choices.

My answer did not change in the past 4 months. We already support native WP and Yoast SEO sitemaps. At least 2 plugins providing sitemaps are supporting Polylang. This gives you at least 4 different choices.

On our side we have to focus on other topics, working on new features or compatibilities not yet covered. I believe this brings more value to our users than working on a 5th solution to get multilingual sitemaps with Polylang.

@chouby thank you very much for your reply man. Love your work!

Just one question, I don’t know if there’s something related about this theme, but the “Languages > Text Translation” option of Polylang is not working with the Rank Math archive pages.

For example, I’ve translated the Category archive title in Polylang, but my page is still showing the original title language.

    Thanks! ??

RankMath is the biggest competitor to Yoast and you count it to “thousands of plugins” ? Thats not serious I prefer switch to WPML/TranslatePress instead changing RankMath – BEST SEO Plugin out there!
This speaks of great unprofessionalism and childish behavior on your part!
I use Polylang on almost all client sites, but I’ll definitely keep one in mind and avoid it from here on out.

@chouby Polylang Pro and free user here. Just re-evaluating SEO plugins and also would like to move to RankMath. It seems more developer friendly with multiple hooks / filters and less upsell for clients than Yoast.

Definitely seems like it fits your market ( presumably developers or technical users ) more than Yoast.

Seems like a popular idea and would love to see it added.

@ianatkins can I suggest you to test our SEO plugin called SEOPress? Ads-free, no footprints, white-label, with hundred of hooks and a REST API.

    Hello,

We have added the Polylang to our website with Video Gallery and Yoast SEO Premium. Unfortunately, when re-indexing videos with Yoast Video SEO, none of the Spanish version using Polylang is coming up on the video sitemap: https://attorneys.media/video-sitemap.xml

@chouby Hello, it’s very clear that Polylang doesn’t want to suppport or add the compatibility with Rank Math.

    Best wishes

    Hi,

We really need compatibility between Polylang and Rank Math SEO Pro. It’s one of the most widely used plugins on WordPress. It’s absolutely ridiculous that Polylang should neglect it.

What are your plans in this regard? If compatibility is not achieved very soon, we will have to leave Polylang for another solution, for all our websites and those of all our customers.

    Thank you for following up!

It seems that everything is not very clear when it comes to knowing who wants or does not want to make their extension compatible. Polylang seems to have done things correctly towards Rank Math, so it’s up to them to move on a bit.
