Hi, i’ll research this, thanks for the feedback.

What does the testpage on https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-ssl/ssl-test-page.php say? (Look it up in your browser, with https)

To download a previous version, this should be possible on the developers tab of the wordpress plug-in page. If this doesn’t work, i can always send you a package.

Thanks for the information, I have to get back to you on this. For a quick fix you could downgrade to version 1, then edit your siteurl and homeurl manually to https.

Version 1.0 does not check for ssl, it just redirects and fixes your mixed content, which should do the job for you.

Yes i too have the same problem

In some cases the execution order of the ssl check and configuration could go wrong, which causes the check to come after the configuration. A fix is planned for the next week (week of august 10).

I pushed an update to the developer version which should solve this: download.

Please let me know if this solves the issue for you as well.

Sorry, just tried it, still not working. As soon as I install it a message comes up, “No SSL Detected” and the pages become unsecure. Went back to version 1.0.3 and everything is fine.

I can’t reproduce the error, which makes it difficult to fix. I just pushed an update which gives you the option to force ssl, even when it is not detected.

If you want, I could take a look at your setup, if you want that, just send me a message , so we can communicate by email.

Thanks for the offer, I have updated to the new plugin and when I force it, it will show https with the green lock. The plugin did not work if it was not forced. Thanks for adding the force ssl option. ??

I’ve moved the ssl check function to the earliest possible moment in the latest release. I was wondering if this makes the ssl detection work for you.
