• So this morning I logged onto the dashboard for my site and noticed several of my plugins required updating, including Elementor and Ocean WP among 3 others. One of the 2 mentioned (I cannot remember which one) seemed to update fine, with the others displaying a red error message. I closed the page and tried re-entering, but I cant even get onto the log-on to my dashboard. Earlier it displayed an error 500 message, but now it just comes up as a blank screen.

My site appears to be working on desktop, but not anymore on mobile.

So it seems the one plug-in that updated (either Elementor or Ocean WP) has corrupted my website? What can I do, I can’t even access the dashboard at this point?

    Thanks in advance,

Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Everything else WordPress topic.

Have you tried asking in the Elementor or Ocean WP sub-forums?

Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins.
