I just updated the plugin and now none of my recipes are not showing up.

Well never mind, apparently it deactivated when I updated, which is totally weird as I never had that happen before.

However, all my former ziplist recipes that were converted are no longer showing the photos in the recipe like they were before. Now it’s just putting the code for the photos. How can I put photos in the directions?

    Hello stephanickety,

Recipes will not show if it’s not activated. Can you check to see if the plugin is activated.

    Thanks,

It’s activated now. But the photos I had originally in the ziplist plugin recipes that I converted to meal planner pro are just showing as coding links.

    See here: https://thetiptoefairy.com/2014/01/make-pralines-microwave/

Is there a way to get those photos showing in the recipe again?

With regards to images, you may of been using the free version of easyrecipe which doesn’t include image urls. (it just picks an image with no url) In these recipes, you’d need to copy and paste the image url you want to use into the recipe card form.

We’re working on enabling images in instructions. By Monday we’ll release a new version with this feature.

    Thanks,

No I had the paid version. However, these are not from Easy Recipe Plus. The recipes with this issue are ones converted from the Ziplist plugin.

Hmm…did you add image urls to the ZipList placeholder when creating your recipes? If so, does our plugin placeholder show an image url or is this box empty?

I see the placeholder image for the recipe plugin in my editor and I am able to add the url for the main photo for the recipe in the plugin and those all converted fine. I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking.

When I created the recipes in Ziplist, I sometimes would add photos to the steps of the recipes. In Ziplist you could add a photo to each step inside the recipe by adding [img src=”myphotolink] Before today’s update to meal planner pro, after I had converted my Ziplist recipes to Meal Planner Pro, those images still showed up inside the recipes in the published posts. Now all that shows up in the published post is the actual code for each of those photos in the steps and not the photos.

This is what someone sees in a published post after the update today:

    Ingredients

    2 cups brown sugar
    1 cup whipping cream
    2 tbs butter
    6 oz chopped pecans
    Instructions

    [img src=”https://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/af298/passfamily/DSC_0004_zps83333585.jpg”%5D
Combine brown sugar, whipping cream, and butter in a large microwave safe bowl and mix until combined.
Lay out sheets of wax paper to hold about a dozen pralines.
    Microwave on high for 6 minutes.[br][img src=”https://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/af298/passfamily/DSC_0009_zps70a4f364.jpg”%5D
Remove from microwave and stir in chopped pecans.
Microwave for an additional 5 minutes. Stir and check to see if consistency has thickened to something like caramel sauce. If it’s still runny, continue microwaving for 3 minutes at a time, stirring and checking consistency.[br][img src=”https://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/af298/passfamily/pralines3_zpsec41de12.jpg”%5D
Let it cool for a minute or two, then spoon out each praline to be about 3 inches wide. I like to use a whoopie pie pan covered in wax paper.
Work quickly as it will harden fast.
Let cool for about an hour, then remove from wax paper and wrap in plastic wrap.

I just sent you an email. It might be better to discuss everything that way. Please check to see that you received it.

    Thanks,
