After update ticker is not longer displayed

You can download old versions here https://github.com/meta4creations/ditty-news-ticker/releases but it would be best to figure out why the current version is not showing up for you since all future versions will be based on what is currently available.

Thanks! You have a javascript error that is most likely killing the javascript the ticker needs to run:

Please run through this article https://metaphorcreations.ticksy.com/articles/10282/ to find out which theme/plugin is causing this.

This error either came about from another plugin/theme updating along with my ticker. Or it’s possible it was there before, but the ticker scripts were previously loading before this error shows up… and then after updating my plugin, WP set my scripts to load last and now they are being affected by the error, since it’s coming before my scripts.

Your welcome! Please try a default theme as well. Even if your theme is up to date, it may still be the cause of the error.

I found the incompatible plugin called “Popup Builder”. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/popup-builder

Ok, that’s good. You’ll want to contact the developer of that plugin and let them know about the error I mentioned above. Hopefully they’ll be able to make an update to resolve it.
