After update to 3.0.9, can’t access WordPress features

I use WordPress 5.9.3. I updated to Visual Form Builder 3.0.9 on Saturday 21.May.2022. After updating, I could no longer access my “Customize” tab under “Appearance.” It told me there was a critical error that referenced Visual Form Builder. I rolled back to version 3.0.8, and all seems to be back to normal. Any speculation as to what might be the issue? Thanks! – dc
