After update to 6.0.6 Flexible Maps plugin no longer works

    After updating Complianz plugin to the last version my posts’ maps, implemented with Google Maps via Flexible Maps plugin v.1.17.1, no longer show up.

    If I disable Complianz plugin the maps show normally so it is obvious there’s some kind of incompatibility or problem among these plugins.

    I see by other support cases that other maps’ plugins suffered similar disfunctions.

    Please advice me so I can correct the problem.

    Hi @miquelpontesgmailcom,

    This is not related to the 6.0 update, there is currently no integration with the Flexible Maps plugin.

    Out of the box, we currently support
    – Google Maps Easy
    – Meks Easy Maps
    – Mappress Maps for WordPress
    – WP Google Maps
    – WP Google Map plugin
    – Maps widget for Google Maps

    The problem is that the Google Maps integration is enabled, blocking Google Maps before consent, but the Flexible Maps plugin is not blocked. I expect it will work if you also block the flexible maps javascript in the script center.

    To do this, in Complianz/integrations, add flexible-map.min.js to ‘Block a script, iframe or plugin’.

    If you can confirm this resolves the issue for you, I can create an integration for this plugin as well.

    Alternatively, you can disable the Google Maps integration in Complianz/integrations, which will stop blocking Google Maps before consent.

    @miquelpontesgmailcom I’ve added a dedicated integration for Flexible Maps, it will now also show a nice Maps placeholder. This will be released in one of the coming updates, can’t say which one yet.
