  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the twentyten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Thanks seems it was a part of the code in the theme that should have showed images in the rss feed. I removed it and now it works fine but now I have no images in the rss feed:-~ Now I need to fix that :-(.

    Having the same problem at https://radiofreewallstreet.fm since upgrading to 3.0. Cannot find a working rss link. Tried the 2 suggestions above. Neither worked.

    I have this problem too. I deactivate all plugin and switching to the twentyten theme.

    Error is:

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    Same problem here: https://www.orologidiclasse.com/

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    Disabled all plugins.
    Activated Twenty Ten.
    Re-Uploaded all core files.

    The error persists.

    The problem is in the functions.php file first declaration:

    <?php
    etcetcetc
    ?>

    then converted to

    <?php etcetcetc ?>

    The strange thing is that also with the TwentyTen theme the error doesn’t change…

    Maybe a combination of plugins and theme functions.

    Probably one plugin that cause the problem can be YARP related post.

    hi, having the same issue… ??
    With a brand new install of WP3 though…

    I know this thread is marked as resolved – but I cannot find anyone having actually solved it?
