After updating GeneratePress to Version:2.4.2, blog links showing 404 Error

The theme itself doesn’t control permalinks – that’s a WordPress thing.

What do you have set as your permalinks right now?

What if you choose “Post name”?

If that doesn’t work, you might want to report it to your hosting, as they should be able to spot the issue with the server.

Thanks Tom to clarify, I have taken up this issue with my hosting.

Permalinks were set to “Post name” only. I have tried to explore google regarding this issue, but not able to find any useful link. I have also looked into .htaccess file but it also looks fine.

Here also same issue is mentioned but no solution is given.

I’ll update this query if I am able to find any solution.

It seems like that user had their permalinks misconfigured.

Typically, this sort of issue is on the server-side of things. Your hosting should be able to pinpoint the issue.

If not, it could be one of your plugins. You can test this by turning them off one by one and testing the URLs.

Just to update, issue is resolved now.

I have took it up with my hosting (HapihHost) and within minutes they were able to resolve this issue. It was occurring because my Apache & Nginx settings were incorrect and they updated the correct setting on their end.
