After Updating the Theme

    Sir,

    I was using the old version of Arise Template.
    I have done some changes in it, like hiding some Meta Data, adding image in header, etc.

    After Updating the theme, everything got lost. Is there anyway to get back those changes.

    AND

    Which is the better way to make changes in theme, so that in future when there is update in Theme, the custom changes remain intact even after updating the theme.

    All I am doing on localhost.

    Sorry to hear that!!! :/

    You have actually 2 options to get back to the old version of your website.

    One if you have your website backup files you can do the backup procedure otherwise, contact your hosting provider and asked them to replace your current files with the back date.

    Another question which you have asked, which is the best way to edit and make changes in your theme.

    You can try doing all these changes on Child Style sheet
