after updating to 3.9.2, all my comments are gone

  • I’m having some problems with comments since updating to 3.9.2.

    First of all, all comments are gone. nowhere to be found. none in the approved list under comments.

    Secondly, when I try to add a comment, I get the error below.

    any ideas?

  • Try switching to a default theme to rule out a theme issue. If not that, rename the /wp-content/plugins/ folder to old-plugins to rule out a plugin issue. If not that, Manually Install WordPress (do not overwrite the /wp-content/ folder). If not that, consult host if they meet WP minimum requirements. No more if thens…
