• We updated our site to Jetpack 4.3.1 and noticed that after publishing two posts on the site that Publicize did not share the posts on Twitter, Facebook, or Google. I checked the connection settings for each and they all appear to be fine with no errors reported.

  • I did that already on 10 Sept. :/

Publicize Only works one day. If i disconnect Jetpack and reconnect it works one day, After this NO shares work. Same thing, after i disconnect again, and so on …

I checked every setting and Jetpack debug, everything seems okay.

Hi: same problem here with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

I’m sorry, but I deinstalled jetpack. There were several things not working anymore and I had to do many things by hand. So I replaced some of the features with other plugins. Many other features I didn’t use at all.

The only thing I am missing is a good statistics plugin now.

@mobiflip Excellent, we’ll get back to you soon if we haven’t already!

@fposadac Could you follow the instructions I posted here to contact us?

    Thanks!

@wollepelz Sorry to hear that, but I’m glad to hear you could find an alternative solution that works for you. If you’re ever willing to give Jetpack another try, and if you still experience issues, don’t hesitate to contact us!

@jeherve: I did follow instructions and sent you two days ago the info. Please advice.

@wollepelz: which alternative did you find for publicize your Posts in Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn?

@fposadac: I am using “Social Media Auto Publish” – there was another I tried before which ran crazy and postet many article which weren’t there at all. I had to delete many posts on Facebook and Twitter by hand.

Social Media Auto Publish works fine.

I am missing Jet Pack a lot for the very good statistics. The google analytics plugin I use now isn’t that catchy.

Ah. And I liked the dropdown if there were new comments. These two things are very hard to replace.

@wollepelz Did you experience issues with Jetpack Stats and Jetpack Notifications as well? If those 2 modules worked well, you could activate Jetpack again, and only enable those 2 modules.

Yes, now I did so. The statistics were too nice for me. Now I have just the two modules notifications and statistics active.

I hope that the unactive modules don’t slow down my site. ??

No worries there! When a module is deactivated, its code doesn’t run on your site.

Problem still exists, since 10 september. no response from support.

I log off and re-sign in to Jetpack every morning and it works. I don’t know why the login doesn’t stick, but that is a band-aid for now.

@mobiflip I checked your account, and it seems that my colleague Anne replied to you on September 12. I’ve just sent you her reply again, just in case you missed the last one.

@gaybookreviews That’s less than ideal. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!
