After updating to wordpress 3.6.1 SEO plugin stopped working

    Yesterday I finally updated my site to WordPress 3.6.1. Everything went smoothly except that now the SEO plugin does not work. It shows it is activated and it appears on every post but when I click to toggle there is nothing there. Even in previous posts the data is no longer showing. I tried to deactivate and activate again but nothing changed. Can anybody help?

  • Same Here. Really a pain. Not sure what is going on. The applet shows up on each page/post. but when I make changes, they don’t save. This is really bad because I have submitted to engines.

    Provided that you have your backed up (exported) settings for the plugin, you can just re-installed it and then import your settings.

    The same thing has happened to me! Help! I re-installed and it’s still the same ?? Is it a bug?!

    obviously this is an ongoing issue. Just a matter of time until others find this blog post.

    Come on Yoast!!!!

    I am getting the same issue, every time I fill in the SEO fields and then update , all of my text is wiped and it’s back to square one! frustrating to say the least
