  • I was struggling all day with this. I decided to just install my site backup from yesterday. I am working fine now. I suggest you role it back and wait for the developers to fix this problem.

I am facing non-responsive error with my site after installing 4.0.0, how can i downgrade woocommerce version?

Have the same issue – Anyone found an answer to this yet?

Same issue after updating to 4.0. Log full of errors for missing some tables

Same issue here after updating to 4.0

Here’s how I fixed the issue today:

    1) I manually deleted the actionscheduler tables (if they exist)

    2) I installed the Action Scheduler plugin downloaded from Github and activated it (https://github.com/woocommerce/action-scheduler)

    3) In the admin I went to Woocommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions and received a notice saying the Action Scheduler tables were being re-created. I then disabled the Action Scheduler plugin.

    4) I went to Woocommerce > Status > Tools and clicked on Update Database

Now when I go to Woocommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions there are no errors, and the actions there have a status of Complete

Thanks for your solution, it’s working for me like a charm.

@1stwebdesigns thanks for providing that fix. This is a known issue and will be fixed in WC 4.0.1. In the meantime, uploading the stand alone Action Scheduler plugin version 3.1.3 has the fix. If you site is otherwise working as normal, you are welcome to wait until the WC 4.0.1 release which should be out soon.

My issue is with the woocommerce database update on March 14, 2020. It’s not a fatal error issue, rather after updating the database which seemed to be an automatic request while in the backed of the woocommerce plugin, the website is now having display issues.

The text in the Site Search bar overlaps after a search is performed. Same issue in various places on the website that have to do with woocommerce. I am using Elementor page builder and any pages that have a product widgets are now messed up as well because those pages are not longer editable or accessible. I get the message page content does not exist. Or if I am able to open a page, the product widgets within the page are all cropped, so you only see a portion of the widget.

I have spent days of trial and error, restoring the site from Sitegrounds and restoring parts of the website to finally narrow down that it is the wordpress database that has gotten messed up right after the database update by woocommerce. Unfortunately, if I restore the site back to the March 13 backup, before the woocommere database update, it fixes the problem, but I’ve got 5 days of manual edits to make.

    Anyone have a simple solution?

Meanwhile I will keep trying to fix this.

    hi @parhamm,

As your inquiry is a different issue, please open a new thread.

In the meantime, I’d recommend doing a theme and plugin conflict test.

After many days of wrangling with this; I stumbled on this post. Thank you so much – it absolutely worked for me!
