Also, I copied the deefusereorder-en_US.mo file to the update-safe folder wp-content/languages/plugins/reorder-post-within-categories/

    Still in French.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’m technically inclined and could not figure out a fix so I had to go with a different plugin altogether. Pretty sad about that because I liked the functionality of this one.

odd, shall take a look when I get some time.

Are you getting any errors thrown in your PHP log file?

Any errors on the javascript console?

The plugin is outputting most of its text in French for me also. I don’t see any errors in the console or PHP logs.

I am also having this issue and have been forced to leave the plugin at v.1.2.1 to keep it in English. Can we have an update please?

For those having issues with the plugin being in French since the last update.

All of the language Machine Object Message Catalog (.mo) files are using the wrong files names. For example, to get the plugin back to english, I renamed the file deefusereorder-en_US.mo to reorder-post-within-categories-en_US.mo.

This is due to a change in the Text Domain and the language files not being updated to reflect this change.

    Hope this helps!

    i’m having this same problem.

@mshihinski thanks for observation. I must have bungled the github commits as the text domain change was required to get the plugin to play nice with the polyglot translation services.

I will fix and push an update in the next couple of days

ok, I confirm I made a booboo on the new translation files. The compiled ‘.mo’ binaries were missing and therefore WP couldn’t load them into memory.

This is now fixed with v1.4.1. Please upgrade.
