I’ve been testing this tool on our dev website. We were on version: 0.1.6 with the latest version of WordPress 5.8.3. We upgraded to popper version: 0.2.2 . All of our previously created popups have been corrupted: “This block contains unexpected or invalid content. Attempt Block Recovery.” I’ve tried the block recovery, and that did not fix it. Luckily, this was on a dev server and not a production server. Also luckily, we only had six or seven popups. I can rollback and/or recreate them with the new version, but I thought I’d let you all know that this is a major pain and bug. Unfortunately, at this time, given our project timelines, I will not be available to help troubleshoot in great detail. Although, such a big bug does make me a bit apprehensive using this in a production live environment. I don’t want someone to accidentally upgrade the plugin and then cause everything to break.

Otherwise, I love the concept of a block based popup tool. Great idea. It’s helpful for those non tech people to be able to create some popups without code.

Hi, I’ve added this lines to documentation.

    Block validation error
After an update you can see that sometimes a Popper block is not validating. To solve this, please edit the title of the popper custom post type, save and reload. The block now is correctly displayed.

The problem is not facing to something going wrong, but to some html generation of the block that change block structure. The block can be esasily restored. I think we have the final structure set in place, so there shouldn’t be any other major changes and this problem should disappear.

We have added a lot of features that make this change necessary, as you can now place the popup also in different point in the pages.

    Thanks for reporting.

I think this can be closed.

    Thanks
