After Upgrade to WP 4.8 not working anymore

  • Has anyboday else had the same issue? After upgrading to WP 4.8 the plugin does not work anymore. The shortcode is shown instead. Update to to the recent plugin version did also not solve the problem…

  • I’ve just checked two of my sites (see below), as I have 4.8 and List Category Posts Version 0.72, and everything is working fine.

    Have you tried to see what happens with the most basic shortcode option.
    I commonly use this: [catlist id=21 orderby=title order=asc numberposts=-1 Date=no]

    Check catlist id, ensure the update hasn’t switched anything, I think I had a problem once when [catlist name=”xxxx”] changed to [catlist id=”xx”]

    Can you show the code you use?
    Have you checked the plugin hasn’t deactivated for any reason?

    I have the same problem that the Category List is now not showing where the categories are for pages. I use Categories to Pages WUD, which has been tested and is still working, but when trying to use List Category Posts all it will list is the Posts (not PAGES).

    I have tried the simplest short code [catlist] to list all pages but all it shows is the one ‘post’ that I have and none of the pages that I have added categories to.

    I have a number of static pages that I have set up that I now need to change to posts.
