• I just upgraded my blog from WP 1.5 to 2.0.4 about a week ago, and everything works well except that I can’t get to my Authors & Users admin page (wp-admin/users.php) The navigational header displays, but nothing else, and I do not get any error messages. I have tried relaxing permissions on the page (to 777), but to no avail. I have checked the wp_users table in the DB and it is there and appears to have all its columns and users.

My readers also tell me that they’re getting permission errors, disappearing usernames and other problems. Some are able to sign in and sure the issue, others are not.

In any case, I think if you can solve my problem, the rest will take care of itself. I have more than 900 registered users and they like to comment. Thanks for your help.

I’d like to upgrade to 2.0.5, but I’m afraid to lose more than I’ve lost already.

    Thanks,

  • Did you try to upload a fresh copy of that file? (eventually of the whole wp-admin folder)
By fresh copy I mean new download, new unzip, new upload…

EDIT. Ooops, I just realized there is no v.2.0.4 available at the archives ??

Oh, and be SURE you delete whatever you’re going to replace first! Files, folder….
