After upgrading to 3.8.2 there still an update notification

    Hi there,

    i already did the upgrade to 3.8.2 yesterday. After i logged on today the admin panel still displays 3.8.2 a new wordpress version as available. i checked the source code of my page, it looks like the version is already 3.8.2 (meta generator tag, css file versions).

    Why ? ??

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
