• I upgraded to the newest version(2.1.2). At first I had problems with pages turning into posts, which I manually fixed in phpMyAdmin.

Now the problem I am having is when your going to write a post, you know where it says “visual | code” (just above where you actually type)…I know it’s suppose to toggle back and forth, but mine is not working. I cannot see the html coding.

What can I do to fix this?

  • I am having same issue, everything else works, just the write feature does not work. no visual buttons, when I toggle to code view, text area completely disapears, and I can’t toggle back. I upgraded to 2.1.2 after the warnings. I upgraded 2 blogs, one works perfectly. I suppose it could be possible that I left a plugin activated or something, but i don’t believe so. I dumped my wp-admin directory and replaced with new dir from install files, same result. maybe I need to deactivate everything and run upgrade again?

well I decided to go ahead and give that a go. Deactivated plugins, deleted and replaced all files, ran upgrade. Still same problem the write page is not working. On a whim I decided to check in IE and it appears as though it is working just fine. In FF it does not work however. Strange though that the other blog I upgraded works in FF?

Just to wrap-up. After clearing browser cache, the page is working in IE and FF. So I guess running the upgrade again fixed the issue.

I tried clearing the cache, but it still doesn’t work for me. I can’t even add in a link to the damn text….I think we need a better upgrade cause this is crazy…I’m only having trouble with my one website. The rest of them upgraded perfectly and work well.

Does anyone have any other suggestions???
