I use the Registration Form template of the Forminator WordPress plugin to replace the original registration page, aiming to provide more customization options and an enhanced user experience. However, I’ve noticed an issue where users are unable to log in successfully using the password they provided in the Registration Form; they are required to change their password again after registration.

    Hi @jamesbong861

    I hope you’re well today!

Please check following settings in form configuration, in “User registration” settings

    1. under “User Meta Mapping” section, is there you password field set to be mapped to “Password”? If not, set it that way.

    2. under “user account activation” is the “activation method” set to “Default” or “email Activation” or “Default”? If it’s not set to “Default” – can you try setting it that way and test if it’s still requiring change of password?

    3. Also, do you have any other plugins active on site that are/may be in any way required to user registration/management/account security? I understand that the registration form is from Forminator but there’s always a chance of some sort of unexpected conflict in background so if there is any such plugin – let us know what is it.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
