After WP 5.5 update not connecting

    i have this problem too.
    the plugin not working after i updated wordpress to 5.5

    The reason might be that this plugin still relies on jquery-migrations (for instance it uses .live() instead of .on()) which seems to have been removed from WordPress.

    Problem solved when removing Hotspots Analytics plugin, using .live() indeed.

    No problem on WP Statistics.
