After WP update, image fail to upload correctly

Hi there,
I have always been able to upload images without a problem until now. I tried uploading images of various sizes and types, increased wp upload to 1GB, and memory to over 200MB, had my host look into it, and they were able to upload their image without any trouble.
What happens is that I get various types of error during an upload: from “HTTP error”, to “Oops, your page does not exist”, to “your site does not exist”.
Half the times, I see the images in my Media section, but they are all set to 1inch width and height, for some reason! When I remove these parameters, the image blows up to a gigantic size, AND has no editing options within the wordpress.Please, help me.

Not sure if it is helpful, but, in my cPanel, there are tons of thumbnails being generated while none of them are available to insert in the Media section of WordPress.https://tsipf.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/tsipf.comerror5.jpg
This is to show that one of the uploaded images still do not have any editing options, as usual. There would normally be options to Edit the image within the Media.I forgot to mention that I am also getting the HTTP error regularly.
