“Age Gate cannot currently be network activated”

  • Hi,

    I’ve attempted installing your plugin to my multi-site set up, only to receive the following error message”

    “Sorry, Age Gate cannot currently be network activated”

    Could you tell me whether this is due to the plugin currently not being multi-site supported, or might it be a conflict with a theme/other plugin I already have installed?

    Hi @jhsingo,

    There was an issue a while back with network activations so I removed the capability for now. You should be able to activate it on each site though.

    Multisite is on the to-do list to have some global settings as for sub directory installs there might nee to be some stuff done so the cookies aren’t shared (if that’s what the admins want)

    Hi Phil,

    Thanks for the response. In that case, it looks like I’ll have to install the plugin once I’ve moved the site across to its domain and out of multi-site. Thanks anyway!
