    Hey there,

I’ve been using the Age Gate plugin on my site, and it has been working properly up until the other day. I’m not sure what may have caused this issue to trigger but for some reason it does not come up as a pop-up anymore, rather it shows at the top of the page and pushes all content down. I’ve tried resetting to default settings, uninstalling and deleting the plugin, then reinstalling and still does the same thing. I also tried a couple other age gates pop-ups and they are all doing the same thing.

Any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

To add onto this, when testing it on the admin view its working perfectly fine. But when I go to the website on a private browser the age gate appears at the top of the page pushing all the content down, as well as still letting you fully access/use the website without selecting the yes option on the age gate.

    Thanks

@tuckerjohns this looks like it’s probably something to do with your cache, especially if you’re seeing it fine when logged in. Try clearing all the caches and if that also compresses the CSS into one lump, compress that too.

Also make sure the “Layout” option is enabled on the Age Gate -> Appearance settings page

I had thought it may be a caching issue as well, but after seeing your response it made me dive a little more into this. I thought I was purging the cache by using the purge all button provided by lightspeed, but that did not appear to be doing anything. I then went and purged each individual cache option through lightspeed and that did the trick!

Appreciate you taking the time to look into this Phil, thank you so much for the help!
