age gate no longer showing

  • I can no longer get the age gate to show. I just cleared all of my browser history including cookies, cleared the site cache, opened the site in an incognito window and the age gate did not show up. Any ideas?

    I still cant get it to work. The age gate should always show in incognito mode on Chrome is that correct? (I am using the javascript mode)

    Looks like the issue may have been with the settings of the Siteground optimizer plugin.

    In the plugin settings I excluded the age gate js and css files from minimising, combining and delayed execution and that seems to have fixed it.

    This might be something you want to look into because Siteground host a lot of sites and the optimizer is activated by default.
