• Hi,
    I added age groups but cannot delete them. They are required when submitting an event. It would be great that if there are no age groups created, then this will not be required when submitting an event.

    I’m sure I can delete the deactivated age groups from the DB but was wondering why I can’t from the admin screen?

  • The reason you can deactivate them but not delete them is so that any archived (or future) events that use those age groups will still be able to refer to it.

    For us, we have almost twenty thousand records for registrations. If we decide to merge age ranges but want to look back and see old children’s programs, even if children’s is deactivated, it will show up when viewing these meetings.

    Again, if we schedule months out so there may be future events using an age range we want to get rid of. Now you have future events months out that would have their only age category removed, which would cause problems.
