Aggregate blog feeds in sidebar

How do I put a feed of the titles and a little of the story of the most recent three posts of a few different blogs (that I don’t write but that would be a part of the process) in my side bar? I have had quite a bit of trouble finding this process, that seems like it would be very easy. I have been able to add the posts to my post feeds, but I don’t want it there. Only in the sidebar.
