• I enabled the Aggregate JS-files option to fix the “Defer parsing of JS”. Site speed increased after that but it conflicts with other plugins and removes their function. How can I fix this?

by reconfiguring Autoptimize to exclude the right JS from JS optimization tanay11. JS errors on the browser console might indicate where to start? ??

Everything works fine on the desktop view but it conflicts with the mobile and tablet view. Site URL:- https://smartgagdetpick.com/

OK, so what JS errors do you see in tablet/ mobile view?

Menu and sticky scroll sections don’t function and a post carousel on homepage is missing.

OK, but on the browser console what JS errors are shown?

This is the error shown in console.

admin-bar implies you’re logged on, what happens when you try to access the site as an anonymous user, in a private/ anonymous browser window?

    (@tanay11)

I am logged in and edit my site through my laptop on Chrome and check the site on Mobile. So, on mobile, the menu and other stuff are not functioning and now I discovered the issue happened on laptop view as well. I’ll show the difference when I disable the Aggregate JS-files option and after disabling it.
    Before enabling the option:- https://prnt.sc/ujqcaf
    After enabling it:- https://prnt.sc/ujqdmb

OK, so when using desktop Chrome’s developer tools (in an anonymous window) to view the site in a mobile context, do you see JS errors on the console?

    Thread Starter tanay11

    (@tanay11)

Yes, I see the JS errors. I used Opera to view my site anonymously and edit my site on Chrome, I see errors on both browsers in a mobile context.

    (@optimizingmatters)

so when in Opera as a non-logged-in visitor, what JS errors do you see in the browser console?

    (@tanay11)

Do you have a support system of this plugin where I can submit a ticket so that I can give you my WP credentials and you can look into the issue?

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

no, tickets are here tanay11 and I’m afraid I don’t (and I’m not allowed to) log into other people’s sites in the context of free support here.

let’s try a different approach; do things work when you disable “aggregate JavaScript”?

    Thread Starter tanay11

    (@tanay11)

Yes, actually error occurs after enabling the ‘Optimize Javascript Code’ option only, so I can’t go further that.

    (@optimizingmatters)

my point; what happens when “optimize JS” is on but “aggregate JS” is off?
