When I submit an application to test it gives me the message about agreeing with te privacy terms.

    A. When I started I used a default form and fields and it worked.
    B. I changed fields and added some more. The default privacy field was changed to another as I don’t want to use the privacy field.
    C. After getting the error I changed the default privacy field back to the privacy field settings. I also updated the template to match the field id of the old (and renewed) privacy id.
    D. Now if I NOT select the privacy terms box I get an error:
“Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /domains/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/job-manager/frontend-application.php on line 802”
    E. If I DO select that box it gieves me the default message:
“You need to read and agree to our privacy policy before we can accept your application. Please click the ‘Back’ button in your browser, read our privacy policy, and confirm that you accept.”

Is there any documentation on how to work with the privacy terms options?

Can you please provide the WordPress Version installed, the Job Manager Version and a URL to your site please.

All you should have to do is UNCHECK the option to make it Mandatory. IS that not working ?

    WP: 4.1.1
    JM: 0.7.22

I managed to deactivate the Privacy field by emptying the filter fields.
    Unchecking mandatory does not work.

I can’t present it on the live site as that needs to be active right now.
I will try setup a development area where you will be able to see it.

I did created some tests and this is extra info for the time being:

    A.
    ADMIN: Field mandatory unchecked.
    FRONT-END: Field unchecked.
RESULT: Message in page (Filter Error value) AND an ERROR Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /domain.com/wp-content/plugins/job-manager/frontend-application.php on line 802

    B.
    ADMIN: Field mandatory unchecked.
    FRONT-END: Field checked.
RESULT: Message in page (Filter Error value)

    C.
    ADMIN: Field mandatory checked.
    FRONT-END: Field unchecked.
    RESULT: Alert field is mandatory

    D.
    ADMIN: Field mandatory checked.
    FRONT-END: Field checked.
RESULT: Message in page (Filter Error value)

I had it working after deleting the text from the Filter Error value field.
It worked 500+ times in 1 week.
But for some reason it stopped working suddenly last week.

Meaning even just submitting an application the page does not do anything.

    Can you see what happens?

That’s good to hear. Very much appreciate that you reported the resolution. May have been a JS conflict. Thanks

    Hello Thomas,

I have exactly the same issue.

I’ve just installed JM (WP: 4.1.1, JM: 0.7.22), it worked with English version but with French version I get the same message (but in French, see below).

(There is no problem with my themes or my plugins, I tried on many themes and deactivate all other plugins. The issue appears when I change into French version).

    Regards,
    Anto
