I’m using WikWp for 1.2 years now, and my licence expired now. I saw that you made an update for:

Modified naming technique for PDF contracts.

What exactly does it changed? I had problems to print drivers information on Agreemnt PDF or Invoice. Is that possible now? Or how can I do that?
I couldn’t find a way to acces driver information and print them.

    Hi,

Thanks for your message. The change-log for the version 1.3.3 includes the modified naming technique for PDF contracts. This was simply an improvement related to how PDF files are generated and saved on the server. We now use a different and stronger naming technique, but this is all the latest version 1.3.3 introduced.

Changes to how drivers information can be accessed inside the template files to generate the PDF contracts will actually be introduced with the upcoming major release 1.4.0 which is scheduled to be released within the end of February 2024 or beginning of March at most. There will be a new rich text editor in the Configuration page that allows to build a dynamic and translatable text supporting special tags (such as “{customer_name}”) and conditional text rules.

If your license is expired, then it is worth waiting for the major release 1.4.0 to be released in case you would like to update the Pro/Commercial version of the plugin. Any version prior to 1.3.3 upgrading to a newer version will automatically adjust all the existing PDF contract files to support the new naming technique, and so even if you miss the update to the version 1.3.3, upgrading to the future 1.4.0 or higher will still work fine.

    The VikWP Team
