a;hover on a menu list for theme switcher

  • I was wondering how to customise the hover when you use a drop down menu, for instance: the theme switcher, which many use.

    To see what I mean, go to Alex Kings website, and you’ll see the hover effect in the menu just brings a plain old blue hover effect, windows default as it were.

    I can change the menu by using option in the css, which colours the drop down list to your own ends. But I cannot get the hover to change from the blue, and if it is possible,I’d like to alter it.

    Any ideas?
