    Hello,

We block Ahrefs bots by default. You can unblock them though: https://docs.ewww.io/article/130-enable-image-fetching-for-ahrefs

Thanks! When I searched ‘ahrefs’ in the search field, nothing came up.

Is there a benefit to having the bots blocked (outside of the excessive resource consumption)? What I’ll do is enable them for a crawl, then re-disable them.

Are you able to unblock yourself via that process? If you haven’t tried, can you see if it will let you through?

For blocked Ahrefs, we blocked them because they are a resource hog. So, if folks don’t use them or have any tests or anything that use them, we would rather they didn’t. But if you want to, that’s fine.

I wasn’t sure if that was a legit screen or not so I didn’t try. Sounds legit, so I’ll go ahead and unblock so I can run ahrefs audit, then re-block when it’s done.

    Thanks,

    Jon
