AIO locked me out while editing my site.

    After setting up AIO WP security today, I activated as many items as I could as I am starting an ecommerce.

    During website editing, I got logged out a couple of times and came back. Last message I got was that I was blocked. I waited those 5?min, but it didn’t work. Neither did it give me the email with instructions to come back, as wordpress by default never sends me email with password recovery.

    I am self hosted and can access my shell, should I just rename the plugin file or is there anything I can do to save my life today?

    By the way, I am using Nginx over Apache2.

    I logged in again, I executed mv aiowps_backups aiowps_backups.disabled but the plugin was active when I logged…

    There are logs in the FAILED login records of my own IP, that suggests me the plugin has a bug, since I never failed login except for when I was lockedout.

    Sorry for late reply, Can you please send me that failed login records screenshot, I do have tested recently and failed login works fine and it logs only if failed login.

    What version of the plugin are you using?, you should’t be able to do backups with AIOS anymore (these are now done by UpdraftPlus)

    Have you used the whitelisting feature, if you have, did you whitelist your own IP?
