AIO SEO Canonical url and sitemap home page url without trailing slash?

I noticed that the canonical url for the home page of my site as well as on the xml sitemap that All in one SEO plugin generate is without a trailing slash at the end of the url while webmaster tool identify the whole site as a directory .. does this have any negative impact on SEO ? and how can I add trailing slash to the canonical url for the home page and on the xml sitemap that the plugin generate ??
