    W3 Total Cache released an update yesterday that created an unrecoverable? Access Denied error from AIOS.

    Accessing wp-login.php or /wp-admin creates either “too many redirects” or an “Access Denied error” depending on whether W3TC plugin directory is deleted or unchanged.

    I can’t get into WordPress Admin after renaming and stripping I have renamed W3TC

    I tried many corrections:

    1. no .htaccess

    2. Added (in wpconfig.php) – define( ‘AIOS_NO_FIREWALL’, true);

    Its not clear how to recover AIOS after hours of troubleshooting how to remove the W3TC plugin.

    Any suggestions?

    I created a better post for this problem after I deleted W3TC Plugin and this problem persisted. The moderator is reviewing the new post and should be along shortly.

    Hi @etilley,

    So it seems not AIOS issue, I am marking this issue solved.

    Yes, if you have Cloudflare SSL – full connection not selected, it may create too many redirect as Cloudflare might try fetch non https url and wordpress as per site_url setting try to redirect there it might creates a loop.

    But why this is an issue when the w3Total cache plugin is updated you have to cross-check it should be from the start when you set up Cloudflare and the WordPress site URL has https according to me.
