    WordFence keeps blocking a bot with the user agent = AIOSEO/2022.2.8

    Mostly due to 404s or too many hits per second

    I’m assuming from the name of the bot this is where it’s coming from. I’d like to confirm if that that’s the case.

    If so, what triggers it to spider and how can I slow it down?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    user agent = AIOSEO/2022.2.8 This is the user-agent of our SEO Analyzer, but it shouldn’t be trying to analyze your site so frequently (unless someone is running your site through the Competitor Analysis).

    Could you please check and let us know which URLs are being hit and how frequently?

    I lost track of which site it was of mine that was seeing those hits. But if I come across it again in the log files I’ll provide some examples.
