    Hi+

We have 2 eCommerce sites. The 1st one AIOSEO installed & activated and automatically imported data from Yoast (via the wizard) no issues. The 2nd site we go through the exact same process and AIOSEO just displays the wait-symbol during the Import from Yoast Step of the Wizard (after I click the button). I have attempted several times and waited over an hour for AIOSEO to finish that step, but it never did. Both sites use the same theme and everything is up-to-date. Please let me know what additional information you need? Or can you tell my why AIOSEO is not getting everything from Yoast and what I can do to make that happen?

    Thank you.

    Hi @evelynmsdesigngraphicscom,

Thanks for reaching out, and I apologize for the inconvenience caused!

Could you please try to import the data from Yoast again? When you see the wait symbol, check the?Console?tab of your web browser to see if any errors are listed. If yes, please share a screenshot of the error so I can investigate the issue.

Here’s how you can check the Console tab of your web browser –

I’m looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks!

    Hi @evelynmsdesigngraphicscom,

I tested this on my end but was unable to replicate the issue.

Would you be able to use the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/) to debug possible conflicts by following the steps below and see if the data imports?

    1. Go to Plugins > Add New and install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Go to?Plugins > Installed Plugins?and click on?Troubleshoot?below the?All in One SEO?plugin. This will temporarily disable all other plugins and switch to the default WordPress theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
    3. On the Plugins > Installed Plugins page, scroll down and activate the Yoast SEO plugin by clicking on the Enable while troubleshooting link below it.
    4. Go to All in One SEO > General Settings, click on the Launch the Setup Wizard button and see if you’re able to reproduce the problem.

Please let me know how that goes.

    Thanks!

    Hi+

Please do not close this ticket. I do not work on the weekends and I have other duties in my job besides working through this one issue. I will get back with you as soon as I can (I plan to get to it this week). I appreciate your patience with me on this.

    Thank you.

    Hi+

Thank you for your patience. I have finally had the time to go through all of the steps provided. Thank you for the plugin – that was very helpful!

I did another attempt to import the Yoast data via the AIOSEO Wizard prior to following these steps. It had the same issue and flashed a warning about a Javascript problem (too quickly for me to get a screenshot of that).

After installing the plugin on a staging version of the site and following the steps, the Yoast data was imported successfully into AIOSEO. Also, I re-activated (enable while troubleshooting) the theme, and various other plugins and did not experience an issue.

Please consider this issue ‘resolved’… Have a great day!
