AIOSEO was working, I went through and set everything up. Tonight I wanted to start a post and noticed that AIOSEO wouldn’t load at the bottom of the post page. I tried going into AIOSEO settings and all I get is a blank screen. I then notice that all options under AIOSEO are blanks screens. I disabled it, removed it reinstalled it. I disabled every plugin on the site except AIOSEO and it still doesn’t work. So, is this a hosting issue of some kind or has an update come out to mess this up? I have many other sites and AIOSEO is working just fine, but those sites are on other hosting. I need help!!

  • Same issue. had to revert back to the last stable version to use this plugin.

@galibri Hey, how did you manage to revert back to the last stable version of the plugin?

I’m having the same issue and support are just telling me to try clearing cache, which isn’t doing anything. And the fact multiple people are facing this issue just shows it is on their end.

    Same issue for me too.

    Hey @rdpshop,

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.

We’re aware that some users are experiencing a blank page screen after updating the plugin to the latest release, 4.7.4.1.

Our Development team is actively investigating the issue, and I’ll update you here as soon as we have more information.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time!

    Hey everyone,

We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating it. We’re aiming to get a fix out today if all goes well. I’ll keep you posted.

Considering this is most likely a plugin conflict, providing us with a list of active plugins you are using on your site should help us speed up the process.

In the meantime, you can downgrade to the previous version using the WP Rollback plugin or by directly downloading the ZIP file here.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I dropped back to 4.7.3 and then to 4.7.0 and neither work inside of post or page editing. The admin page came back, however, the part, the tool that you really need when writing a post or page isn’t there. So I hope the fix is going to restore that, because over time, I have began to hate Yoast, but it is looking like I am going to have to go back to that. All I know is once I went to 4.7.3, I was able to check the box to delete the database and files of AIOSEO upon uninstalling it, hoping that would make an older version work. Unfortunately, there is still something in a database that will not allow AIOSEO to work properly. I have a feeling I am screwed

@rdpshop we’re still investigating this on our end but we believe caching might be part of the issue. The fact that downgrading does not solve the issue for you may confirm that. Can you try clearing both your server and browser cache to see if that helps?

    Hey everyone,

We have a beta build with a potential fix for this issue. Would you mind trying it out and letting us know if this resolves the issue for you?

I’ll be happy to shed some light on the cause once we’ve been able to confirm the fix.

    I have blank screens also

You updated It works now thank you

    Hey everyone,

We just released a new update that should resolve this. If you are still experiencing any issues after pulling in the latest update, please let us know.

What happened here is that certain security services and server rules were preventing a JavaScript file in our previous update from being loaded. All our JavaScript filenames are suffixed with a randomized hash every update to prevent cached files from being served. This particular file’s hash had a sequence of characters in it that triggered security rules, resulting in a block. We’ve now regenerated the hashes and taken some precautions to try and prevent this from happening again in the future.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

The update fixed it for me, thanks.

@danaldinho I downloaded the old version from the repository and uploaded it manually. However, the plugin has now been updated to 4.7.4.2 and the problem has been solved.
