    Hi,

My website is using AIOSEO plugin and I’m using the default settings in Search Appearance

However, when I check the page source of my website, the AIOSEO returns a noindex.

How do I change it so it shows indexed?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Did you remember to scroll down the page and check that this is set correct for PAGE, POST, PORJECTS, FILES as appropriate. (There may be other types depending on your set-up).

@clarrencesilver the only way your homepage can be noindexed when you’re using AIOSEO is if you’ve enabled the “Discourage search engines from displaying this website in search results” setting under Settings > General. That’s a default setting from WordPress you can enable to switch between a public and private website. The reason why I know this is because we don’t allow you to noindex your homepage in AIOSEO since that goes against the purpose of an SEO plugin.

You’re right! I didn’t realize it was even enabled in the first place. I disabled it now and my site is back up!

    Thank you
