• Gravely concerned because the carefully crafted metadata filled into AIOSEO Settings fields in front page of website somehow deleted itself and reset to defaults. I only noticed because the AIOSEO page ranking in upper right dropped from 85/100 to 69/100 while the computer slept for 2 hours.
Thankfully, was able to go to Google search and copy/paste most of what I had entered before it was replaced.
How could this auto delete/clearing possibly happen? I did not delete anything manually. Need a solution, as I really don’t want to switch to a different provider, but will if necessary to avoid another minor catastrophe. Thank you.

Hi @leelalove, this could point to a database problem where the aioseo_posts table had a problem. You may want to check that table in your WordPress database and make sure the data is showing.

You should also implement a good backup strategy using a reliable backup plugin that backs up your database tables as well as the files on your server.

You can also go to All in One SEO > Tools > Import / Export and back up your SEO data and settings there by clicking the Create Backup button.

    Hi @leelalove,

We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of weeks, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks! ??
