    Hi,
I try to enhance my visibility by using AISEO. One of the features is that AISEO creates sitemaps on the go. However, not in my case. kanzlei.wente.de/sitemap.xml always returns a 404 error. AISEO claims that the “All in One WP Security plugin … causes the URL for the sitemap to return a 404 error. Deactivating the All in One WP Security plugin immediately resolves the issue.”
May be it is just a setting issue. Please let me know if so, otherwise I will have to abandon AIOWPS.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

Lets try a process of elimination. Activate the plugin if it is deactivated. Then make sure you don’t enable any firewall rules. Then carrying out a test. Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

I ran into a similar (or maybe the same?) issue with submitting the sitemap to google. It complains that the sitemap is empty if I have ‘Block fake googlebots’ active. If I disable that option, then google is happy.

    Cheers,
    Vinny

I did that and found out the problem is not caused by AIWPS. Confrontig the support of AISEO with this finding they now claim that the fault is caused by WPML and they try to solve it with their WPML-contact. So far without result.
Is it standard practise that if your plugin is not working as it should to blame other plugins for the faulty behavoiur?

I am glad you found the conflict. I will also mark this thread as resolved because the issue is not related to our plugin.

    Thank you
