    Admin-ajax is called by every single plugin that uses ajax with WordPress, probably, including Jigoshop, so the fact it is getting called isn’t surprising. HeartBeat shouldn’t be using that much CPU, since it only beats once every 60 seconds. If you have high usage thanks to the heartbeat, unless you’re running a plugin that is speeding up the heartbeat intervals or trying to do alot of things on a tick, both of which would be exceedingly rare, my guess is that your core issue is simply your host account is very underpowered (or if you’re on shared hosting, there’s too many people, or a very noisy neighbor, on the same server).

    thanks for the response. Ya I figured it was probably popular. BUT, I finally found a way to see what was calling it. It seems it was the Wordfence plugin I had installed for security. Pretty draining on load time according to webpagetest. Think i got it fixed by disabling that.
    going to re enable heartbleed and check tomorrow to seee whats happening with the cpu
