Ajax -> how to trigger ajax-files?

Hi,

currently i have to set the template-comment on top of each of my ajax-files, generate a page and mount the ajax-file as template to make it load (without falling back to my index.php).

I found little to no documentation about wp and ajax. Is there a sollution for this?
