Ajax hangs when trying to change order

  • I’m having an issue where when after I try to re-arrange the order of pages, the spinning circle justs hangs and never completes it’s ajax request. I’m using quite a few plugins, and by disabling all of them, I can see that the spinning AJAX circle takes only a few seconds.

    I’ve already spent an hour trying to figure out which of them is the culprit, turning each one of an on, but I’ve been unable to diagnose this, as I think it may be a combination of them. I thought I’d write you before proceeding any further to see if you had any ideas.

    I should mention that if I disable The Events Calendar, while keeping all the rest of them active, the ajax request does work successfully after some time. So I tried deactivating everything but Nested Pages and The Events Calendar, and oddly, they do work together just fine, just not when all the rest of the plugins are also active. Could this just be a memory exhaustion issue? I’m not seeing anything in my error console or in the error log on the server.
