AJAX is called to often

Hi,
we have the same problem as described in the thread here:

Sadly we don’t see the option to disable AJAX requests entirely in your plugin. It calles over 100 times per minute per user so the server breaks down.
So where exactly is the option to disable this or to fix this problem?
