Ajax issue

I’m using a customized version of the WPShower “Sight” theme, and I’m having trouble getting the “Load more” feature to work with my permalink structure (/%post_id%/%postname%/)

In the status bar, I can see the function trying to load the default “?author=1&paged=2,” but, for some reason, it’s not able to grab the additional posts.

Can I customize the next_posts_attributes function in some way?
